Ph.D. Professor of Department of Veterinary, Pathophysiology and Animal Health and Director of Stock Farm in Graduate, School of Agricultural and Life Sciences, The University of Tokyo. He is a board member of the Japanese Society of Equine Science. In research, he has extensively studied cardiovascular and autonomic nervous functions in many animal species, including horses.
